# Hiding prices

When setting up your store, you may want to initially hide prices from displaying on your store. Here are a few tips on hiding the prices in common areas of the theme:

The CSS code that was used in the video:

```
.product-item__price {
  display: none;
}
```

### Where to add

Be sure to add this code snippet in the main **Theme settings -> Custom CSS**&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/vdec5Oquxl8qvayfj2s0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
Remember to remove that custom CSS code snippet when you want to show the prices again in the future.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

### Product pages
